A planter that floats above its saucer
The Odyssey is a funnel, a cone of soil suspended in a stand, with a spherical drip tray cupped underneath. The effect from a distance is a plant hovering above the surface. Up close it is a practical arrangement: the integrated drainage hole lets water through and the rounded saucer collects the excess.
Two sizes are listed, 8 inches and 10 inches, and nine colors run from Midnight Black and Navy Blue through Natural Wood, Terracotta and Blush. Each planter is hand crafted in the US from recycled wood and sustainable bioplastics, 60% bioplastic derived from corn and 40% recycled wood fibers, and the blend is completely biodegradable. It gives the piece the appearance, texture and distinctive aroma of natural wood. Drainage is designed in rather than added on: the funnel has an integrated hole and the spherical saucer sits below to collect the excess.

Care
The planter is made from a plant-based blend of corn bioplastic and recycled wood fibers, and it is biodegradable. Water drains through the integrated hole into the spherical saucer below, so empty the saucer when it collects. Wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth.
