A twisted, ribbed planter drawn from the shop's TIDE vase, made in three sizes from small to large. Each one comes with a drainage system in the base and a drip tray saucer built to fit it, so watering is accounted for. The material is 98 percent plant-based, a blend of corn bioplastic and recycled wood fibers. Nine colors. Plants not included.
A wave, twisted into a pot
The TIDE planter came out of the TIDE vase design: the same idea of ocean movement, translated into a pot. A twisted silhouette with a ribbed texture runs around the body, which means it holds its own as a sculptural object on a shelf even before anything is planted in it.
Three sizes. Small is 3.4 inches tall with a 3 inch opening. Medium is 4.8 inches tall with a 4.5 inch opening. Large is 6.5 inches tall and 9.5 inches across with a 6 inch opening. Measure the nursery pot your plant is sitting in now and match it against those openings.
Drainage and a fitted tray
Every one comes with a drainage system in the base and a drip tray saucer made to fit it, so the two parts ship together rather than being sold separately. The material is 98 percent plant-based, biodegradable, and the shop puts its lifespan at over 80 years with normal use.

Care
Made from 98 percent plant-based material, corn bioplastic blended with recycled wood fibers, so it carries the look, texture and smell of real wood. Water through the drainage system and let the fitted drip tray catch what runs out, then empty the tray. Wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth. Color can vary slightly from light to dark by season.
