The black tray holds a tent, a cooler, a campfire, a picnic table and a canoe. Two trees and roughly ten small stones fill in the landscape, and the sand does double duty as grass and as water, so the canoe has somewhere to go. A zen garden rake comes with it for redrawing the shoreline.

Two flexy raccoons round out the scene, because no campsite stays untouched overnight. They are designed by McGybeer and sold here as an authorized seller of their work. Every set is inspected before it goes in the box, and small variations from one to the next are normal.

Plain tray or pen organizer

Without the organizer the tray is 6 x 6 x 1 inches. With the organizer it arrives as a black tray attached to a black pen organizer at 8 x 6 x 3 inches. Neither figure includes the height of the contents, so the tent and the trees add to that. The camp gear is the same in both.

Care

Every set is made to order and inspected before it is packed, so slight variations can appear. Keep the sand dry and sweep loose grains back in. A dry cloth is enough for the tray, the tent and the rest of the camp gear. The contents are small, so keep it away from young children.

What colour is the tray?

Black. The organizer version is a black tray attached to a black pen organizer. The camping pieces, the stones and the sand are the same in both versions, so the only real choice is whether you want the pen storage alongside it.
