It is metal through and through: 60 percent stainless steel and 40 percent bronze, which is where the slightly warm tone comes from. The finish is deliberately left raw rather than polished, so the cuff has a bold, unfussy look instead of a mirror shine, and it earns its keep with goth, punk and steampunk wardrobes.
The shape is geometric, a run of triangles, at 2.7 by 3.6 by 0.2 inches, so it covers a good part of the ear while staying thin in profile. Minimal from the front, more of a statement from the side. It is sold as one cuff, for one ear, which is how the design is meant to be worn.
How it stays on

Because it rests on the ear without a clip or hook, take it off before sport so it cannot slip. Small differences in finish between pieces are normal.
